What are you up to these days…?
After resigning from my job January 2023, I have been working on crafting a portfolio of activities that I find meaningful and enjoyable. Does anybody care? Quite possibly, no! I have often found blogs to be rather presumptuous and self-involved. Who am I to think anybody cares about that I have to say?
On the other hand, I am involved in some pretty great organizations, and I would like to take advantage of this opportunity to share them.

Rekindle Family Mealtime
It may seem simple, but eating together as a family has been proven to be very beneficial. Studies have found the frequency of family meals to be associated with greater intake of fruits and vegetables and milk, as well as several nutrients, including calcium, iron, vitamins, and fiber, along with decreased intake of fried foods, soft drinks, and saturated and trans fats.
Trust Your Gut
The large number of health and nutrition messages floating around these days can be overwhelming, and almost disheartening. When should I eat? And how much?
Do not give up and throw in the broccoli.
